Mike McCranie is Chief Information Officer for Builders FirstSource, where he leads the company’s enterprise technology strategy and drives initiatives that support growth, innovation, and operational excellence. Since joining Builders FirstSource in 2021, he has focused on transforming the technology function, strengthening core capabilities in areas such as architecture, cybersecurity, data, and governance, and enhancing the digital experience for customers and team members.
Mr. McCranie has more than 25 years of technology and business leadership experience, including senior roles at Kimberly-Clark, ABB, Serta Simmons Bedding, and Interstate Batteries. Over the course of his career, he has built and developed high-performing teams, led complex modernization programs, and partnered closely with business leaders to align technology investments with strategic priorities.
Mr. McCranie holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management Information Systems from The University of Georgia.
