In this time of uncertainty, I'm incredibly appreciative of the consistency of my job and that fact that I even still have one as there are so many out there that do not.
We collaborate well, seem to have compatible personalities and interests that help us grow closer as a team, and I think, are all trying our best to adopt a growth mindset—highlighting successes, owning fail
I enjoy the collaborative environment because it makes me feel that my ideas are valid, can be shared, and will even be considered. Many companies do not have this which I think can lead to toxic leadership and a hostile, uncomfortable environment overall.
They seem to show genuine concern and appreciation for each us us as individuals. A lot of the company trainings lately have seemed to revolved around wellbeing not just as employees, but as people. I also feel that they embody a growth mindset well and are always seeking to improve.
The fact that health care is even offered. Many young companies like this one do not offer it, and I did not, in fact, have it when I was first hired here. However, my limited knowledge on the subject may be preventing me from seeing places it may be lacking.
I interviewed over 2 years ago now so things at the company used to look and be run very differently. Back when I interviewed, thing were very casual and a little unprofessional. I really think things have improved since then, but I'm sure there is always room for further improvement.
