Paul Washicko — Senior VP & GM at CalAmp

Mr. Paul Washicko has been Senior Vice President and General Manager of the SaaS business unit at CalAmp Corp. since July 19, 2017. Mr. Washicko joined CalAmp in 2016. He has more than 25 years of leadership experience in wireless technology spanning engineering, operations management, strategy, business development, product development and M&A and He has over 15 years of experience in telematics and SaaS, including pioneering remote diagnostics and asset management for vehicle fleets. He began his career as a design engineer in the aircraft division of Rockwell International. He served as Chief Executive Officer and President of Air-Trak, Inc. since 2008. He served as Vice President of strategy and software portfolio management at Sabre Airline Solutions. He served as Vice President of operations at Transcore developing GPS based toll systems. He served as President of Networkfleet, Inc. (formerly Networkcar, Inc.)., where he led through years of high growth and eventual sale to Hughes Telematics. In 2000, Mr. Washicko joined Reynolds and Reynolds, as Director of Corporate Strategy and Development and led it into original investment in Networkcar. In 2002, Mr. Washicko led the market development and rollout of Networkcar from within Reynolds and subsequently served as General Manager and Chief Operating Officer. Prior to joining Reynolds, Mr. Washicko served as International Business Development Manager for TRW, developing and marketing wireless communications, imaging and laser technology products. Prior to TRW, he served in various capacities at McDonnell Douglas, from design engineering to program management, for international customers. He served as a Director of Air-Trak, Inc. Mr. Wissahickon holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Cal Poly Pomona and an M.B.A. from the Marshall School at the University of Southern California.
