Daniel R. Friedman — Division President of Global Supply Chain at Caleres

Mr. Daniel R. Friedman, also known as Dan, has been Division President of Global Supply Chain at Caleres, Inc. since January 2010. Mr. Friedman served as Division President - Global Supply Chain and International at Brown Shoe Co. Inc. since January 2010. Mr. Friedman served as Division President of Wholesale Product and Sourcing at Brown Shoe Co. Inc., from January 2010 to January 2011. He served as Senior Vice President for Product and Sourcing of Brown Shoe Co. Inc. from July 2006 to January 2010. He combines oversight of Brown Shoe Co. Inc.'s worldwide sourcing operations with a responsibility for all branded wholesale product development -- including Brown Shoe Wholesale and the Bennett division. Mr. Friedman joined Brown Shoe from Camuto Group, which he joined in 2002. He served as President and Managing Director of Brown Shoe and was responsible for sales, sourcing and product development for key branded and first cost business. He served as President and Managing Director with Camuto Group and was with U.S. Shoe and Nine West. He served as President of Aerosoles, Inc. from December 1998 to November 1999 and was with the Nine West Group, a marketer of women's footwear, in various senior management positions from 1994 to 1998, including President of its Evan Picone division. He served as resident of Keds at The Stride Rite Corporation. Mr. Friedman holds a Bachelor's degree from Ohio University.
