Mr. Mark A. Schmitt has been Chief Information Officer of Caleres, Inc. since January 2012 and its Senior Vice President of Logistics & Customer Care since February 2013. Mr. Schmitt served as Senior Vice President of Brown Shoe from January 2012 to February 2013. He is focused on leading the strategic technology direction. He joined Brown Shoe after serving in various information technology roles at Express Scripts and Anheuser-Busch InBev. Mr. Schmitt served as Senior Director of management information systems for Express Scripts. From 1996 to 2009, he was with Anheuser-Busch InBev, where he held various management information systems roles and served on SAP's Consumer Product Advisor Council. From 1984 to 1996, he worked for United Parcel Service, where he functioned in a variety of technological and strategic roles. Mr. Schmitt earned a bachelor's in electronic engineering technology from DeVry University and a master's in business administration in information systems from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
