Mr. David West Griffin has been Chief Financial Officer of Calumet GP LLC and Executive Vice President of Calumet GP LLC at Calumet Specialty Products Partners, L.P. since January 5, 2017 and has been its Principal Accounting Officer since April 17, 2017. Mr. Griffin is responsible for executing Calumet's ongoing deleveraging strategy, as well as all financing and capital markets activities. He served as the Chief Financial Officer of Energy XXI (Bermuda) Limited (also known as Energy XXI Ltd.) from July 25, 2005 to October 20, 2014. Mr. Griffin served as the Principal Accounting Officer of Energy XXI (Bermuda) Limited. He served as the Chief Financial Officer of Alon USA, a $1.6 billion refining and marketing company from January 2004 to December 2004. He served as Executive Director of Energy XXI (Bermuda) Limited from July 25, 2005 to November 10, 2009. He owned his own turn-around consulting business, Energy Asset Management from April 2002 to January 2004. He served in various positions with InterGen, including as Chief Financial Officer for InterGen's North American business and supervisor of financing of all of InterGen's Latin American projects from 1996 to April 2002. Mr. Griffin has over 30 years of industry experience where he has served in executive management roles for a number of high profile energy-related corporations. Mr. Griffin serves as a Director of Energy XXI Leasehold LLC and Energy XXI Pipeline II LLC. Mr. Griffin served in the Project Finance Advisory Group of UBS from 1993 to 1996. He served in various positions with Bankers Trust Company from 1985 to 1993. Mr. Griffin began his career as an investment banker, working for both BT Securities and UBS. He served as a Director of Energy XXI Gulf Coast, Inc. He served as a Director of EPL Oil & Gas, Inc. until October 20, 2014. Mr. Griffin graduated Magna Cum Laude from Dartmouth College in 1983 and received his Masters in Business Administration from Tuck Business School in 1985.
