Mr. Orlando D. Ashford has been the President at Holland America Line Inc. at Carnival plc and Carnival Corporation since December 1, 2014. Mr. Ashford oversees Holland America Line's sales and marketing, revenue management, deployment and itinerary planning, public relations, hotel operations and strategy. Mr. Ashford served as the President of Talent Business at Mercer LLC and Mercer, Inc. He served as the Chief Human Resources & Communications Officer and Senior Vice President of Marsh & McLennan Companies, Inc. and oversaw Human Resources, Corporate Communications, Corporate Social Responsibility and activities involving its corporate brand. He served as Senior Vice President of Human Resources at Marsh & McLennan Companies, Inc., since September 2008. Mr. Ashford joined MMC from the Coca-Cola Company, where he served as Group Director of Human Resources for Eurasia and Africa. He joined Coca-Cola in 2005 as Vice President of Corporate Center Human Resources and Cultural Transformation and he led MMC's global culture transformation, capability building and organizational development efforts; reorganized and rebuilt its Corporate Center HR team; and headed company-wide cultural change efforts. He served as Vice President of Global Human Resources Strategy and Organizational Development at Motorola Inc. He served positions with Motorola, the Delta Consulting Group (subsequently Mercer Delta Consulting), Ameritech and Andersen Consulting. He has been an Independent Director of ITT Inc. since December 12, 2011. He serves on the Board of Directors for Streetwise Partners. Mr. Ashford is on the Board of Directors for the Executive Leadership Council (ELC) and serves on advisory boards for Purdue University School of Technology, the NFL Players Association and Ladders.com. He is a member of the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD) Blue Ribbon Commission on diversity in corporate boardrooms. Additionally, he sits on the Board of Directors for the Executive Leadership Council (ELC). He also serves on advisory boards for ROADS Charter High Schools. He published book names as Talentism. He has been honored as a Purdue University School of Technology Distinguished Alumnus. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree and Master of Science degree in Organizational Leadership and Industrial Technology from Purdue University.
