They are honest, thoughtful, and truly care about our well being. They are smart and they have made Carnival the most successful cruise company with over 100 ships in service.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Reported bad behaviors to manager nothing happened.
Pretty much everything! 4 major breaches 4 years straight should sum that up. The security leadership team needs an overhaul, and the board needs to open up their eyes!
training and everyone needs to get on the same page.
They are not in touch with how employees feel about the company, they ignore complaints and hide behind closed doors.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
RSU Bonus and 401K and other perks

I'd have to say the whole package is great - salary, bonus opportunities, and equity.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
They make you basically work for every department and yours for minimum wage.
Lack of incentive based remuneration
Carnival reaps a very nice revenue stream on a yearly basis since it owns 50% share of the cruise line market, but the majority of the employees never see that.
Part time employees should have a way to benefits even if it is not the same as full time employees
They only care about money and not employees since they started outsourcing jobs. Not to mention they skirt around us labor laws by registering the ships in other countries.

What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
Stop favoritism, turn over is HORRIFIC! Who wants to talk to a customer that has been on hold for 4 hours and transferred 3 times. ANGRY they are ANGRY, and I don't blame them.

Managers district managers are in your corner they want you to succeed. Carnival Cruise Lines set you up to succeed not fail
Very inclusive and great work life balance
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
Leadership and upper management needs to change, hands down. In addition, many of the departments (security specifically), don't have a career growth path in place at all!
Moral is very bad and management does not want to listen or take action

It was a very easy process, you were treated fairly and respected

Stop with the shiny, pretty package. Tell what the job really is. Oh, I guess you can't then no one would accept the offer.

I feel gratitude for what all the great experiences I get to have, my personal growth, and my career growth.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Upper management needs to get their heads out of the clouds and pay attention to the small people that work there. Those small people are the ones doing all the work.
Better pay for the work being asked of us.
Inept leadership who strives strictly on revenue, but not quality
Moral is bad, management does not care, they created this culture, no incentives for going above and beyond
