Carollo is generally pretty flexible with telecommuting.

That’s a difficult concept to quantify, but Carollo seeks to build innovation into all of our designs—at least—when it’s inportanr to our client and doesn’t blow the project cost or schedule. Carollo has a dedicated research group that has decades of success developing technologies and best practices to solve water treatment, conveyance, and reuse challenges.

Carollo has an excellent benefit program, including medical, dental, vision and 401(k) with some matching contributions. There are opportunities for tuition assistance for qualified employees who are seeking to improve their education or training.

Carollo generally conducts multi-person interviews. A candidate may meet with 3-5 individuals at a single interview “session.” These are typically one on one interviews, and interviewers compare notes and impressions with each other after the interviews have concluded to see who moves on to the next step.

It helps to know someone at the company, but Carollo prefers candidates who have demonstrated their passion in the water or wastewater field. Water is all we do, so we want people who share our passion for water.

Carollo selects interns from the high school and college level for paid internships. These usually are summer internships, but the timing can vary. Typical college interns are civil and environmental engineering undergraduate or graduate students focusing on wastewater or water engineering. High school interns help engineers and project managers with various tasks, depending on project need and the intern’s field of study.

Well, that’s an incredibly vague question, but Carollo’s HR department has people who can address any HR issue, as well as benefits experts to guide new and current employees through any benefits issues they may have. Hope that helps.
