Mr. Augustus N. Stephas, also known as Gus, has been the Chief Operating Officer of CBL & Associates Properties, Inc. since February 13, 2007 and Executive Vice President since January 1, 2010. Mr. Stephas is responsible for CBL's property operations including leasing, management and asset management. He served as Senior Vice President of CBL & Associates Properties Inc., from February 13, 2007 to January 1, 2010. Mr. Stephas manages CBL's peripheral property division. Mr. Stephas served as Senior Vice President of Accounting and Controller of CBL & Associates Properties Inc., from January 1997 to February 13, 2007. Mr. Stephas joined CBL's Predecessor named CBL & Associates, Inc., in July 1978 as Controller and served as its Vice President of Accounting and Controller since 1984. Mr. Stephas served for the accounting firm of Lybrand, Ross Bros. and Montgomery. From 1970 to 1978, Mr. Stephas served with the shopping center division of Arlen as an Accountant and Assistant Controller. Mr. Stephas graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson University in Teaneck, NJ.
