A Cebrace é fruto de uma joint-venture entre dois dos maiores grupos produtores de vidro plano do mundo: a NSG/Pilkington (Japão) e Saint-Gobain (França). Fundada em 1982, reúne em seu processo de fabricação o know-how e a tecnologia de dois gigantes do setor de vidros. Isto a coloca no posto de empresa líder no mercado brasileiro do segmento de vidro plano.Primeira empresa do setor vidreiro a ser membro-fundador do Green Building Council Brasil (GBCB), a Cebrace tem um compromisso com a preservação do planeta e as futuras gerações, não só investindo no desenvolvendo de produtos sustentáveis, mas buscando constantemente soluções de baixo impacto ambiental em seus processos produtivos. Com capacidade de produção de 2.700 mil toneladas/dia, a Cebrace possui quatro unidades fabris: duas em Jacareí (SP), uma em Caçapava (SP) e uma unidade em Barra Velha (SC), que produzem a mais completa gama de produtos, utilizados na construção civil, indústria automobilística, eletrodomésticos, móveis e decoração.
