We measure our Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions annually in line with the Greenhouse Gas Protocol, improving data granularity and transparency across procurement, fleet, offices, and IT infrastructure.
Celonis Climate Program: The Paris Agreement's 1.5°C goal to limit global warming requires a significant shift worldwide, cutting global emissions by 45% by 2030 and reaching net-zero by 2050. Our Celonis Climate Strategy is centered on rapid emission cuts - doing our part to help halve global emissions in the years ahead. We have set ambitious, near-term science-based emissions reduction targets for 2030, validated by the Science Based Targets Initiative. Our targets reflect our ambition to reduce emissions with clear measures already underway to achieve them. Furthermore, we are investing in high-quality carbon removal projects beyond our value chain, recognizing their distinct and vital role in reaching global net-zero emissions by mid-century.
Celonis4Sustainability: The Sustainability team empowers several local sustainability communities in our offices around the world to turn the global strategy into local action, embracing sustainability at work and engaging all Celonis employees (who we call “Celonauts”). In bi-weekly gatherings, important updates and best practices are shared and connections made among these passionate champions. As an extension of the core Sustainability team, these communities also act as sounding boards and project accelerators.

While our main focus is on empowering Celonauts to create impact through volunteering and skill-based initiatives, we also live our values by supporting global causes through targeted giving. In FY2025, Celonis and Celonauts contributed more than $350,000 to organizations making a difference around the world: Instead of receiving physical gifts during the FY2025 holiday season, Celonauts once again chose to give back. What started as a one?time initiative has now become a Celonis tradition – turning the holidays into an opportunity to create impact for others. Through a global vote, Celonauts directed donations to four organizations: One Tree Planted, Solar Sister, Carbon180, Swabhimaan.
