Dan Phillips?is the Executive Vice President & Chief Technology Officer at Chamberlain Group.
Before joining Chamberlain Group, Dan served as Hulu’s CTO through its hyper growth from 2018 to 2021 as it became a premier streaming media service and the largest OTT Live Service in the US. He oversaw all aspects of product strategy, development, delivery, and operations including product management, user experience, engineering, IT, security, and operations.?
Prior to Hulu, Dan served as the Chief Operations Officer at TiVo as it redefined television viewing and through its expansion into international markets. Earlier in his career, he held leadership positions at several technology companies including SVP of Engineering, Product & Service at Trados and VP of Engineering & VP Product Management at CrossWorlds through its IPO and until its acquisition by IBM. Dan started his business and technical career by co-founding MetaSystems.
Dan graduated from Cal Poly Humboldt, where he serves as the chair of their Boldly Rising Campaign focused on the University’s transition to becoming California’s third Polytech University. He helps fundraise to advance University programs and student scholarships. Dan co-founded Lost Coast Ventures, a public benefit organization that provides seed capital and mentoring for ventures coming out of Cal Poly Humboldt or College of the Redwoods.
