Starting April 17, 2019, SCENE is changing the number of points earned and redeemed at Cineplex theatres.

Guests who purhcase advanced tickets for a show after April 16th, will be retroactively awarded the extra SCENE points based on the new earn rate.

When purchasing tickets, you will continue to earn points for your own individual ticket purchase, for up to 2 unique performances per day. The SCENE Rewards Program is based on individual membership and was designed to reward each member for their visits to the theatre.

Yes. Persons living outside of Canada can purchase and send E-Gift Cards to residents of Canada.

Yes. If you've rented an HD movie, playback on Chromecast will be in HD, even if your phone isn't capable of HD playback.

Yes! 1,500 SCENE points is equivalent to $10. Customers can choose the total number of points they wish to redeem for the purchase of each gift card.

Yes. Cineplex Gift Cards are transferable and can be shared with family members, friends and others. Treat gift cards like cash.

Guest in a wheelchair can access the barrier free space at the front cross aisle along with companion seating. The Barrier free seats are two spaces on the right of the stairs at the front row cross aisle.

Guest in a wheelchair will still be exposed to the environmental effects like wind, snow, bubbles but not the direct effects from the bar like water, scent or air.

The 4DX chairs are designed however with the outer armrests going up and down and equipped with seat belts, allowing a person with a disability to safely transfer into the seat to experience all effects.

Unfortunately, we no longer support XBOX devices. You can still access your library and watch the movies you have rented or bought on another device. View all devices supported.

Some of the recent changes to the way our e-tickets look was done to make it easier to scan from a smartphone or device. While this was done, we can reassure you that your tickets are still scannable with the new look, and this was tested with the theatres scanners thoroughly.

If there is any issue with scanning the ticket, they can still be manually entered by the door staff when you come in.

You can pre-order digital copies of SD and HD movies from the Cineplex Store prior to the public release date. Once the movie is released to home video, the digital copy will be made available to you through your Cineplex Store account.

SCENEtourage is a group of 3-10 SCENE members which allows you to earn bonus SCENE points just for going to the movies with your group. When at least 2 members from your group go to the theatre together, those members will receive 50 bonus SCENE points!

When you purchase a SuperTicket with your theatrical ticket, we provide you with a voucher code that can be redeemed for a digital copy of your movie.

To redeem your digital movie:

1. Visit Cineplex.com/SuperTicket

2. Click on REDEEM SUPERTICKET

3. Enter your digital download voucher codeSuperticket purchased at theatrical movie ticket at kiosk or box office? The voucher code is printed on your paper ticket. Superticket purchased online at Cineplex.com? The voucher code is included in the PDF document that you receive with your order confirmationemail.If you select "Mobile Pickup" as your delivery method during purchasing, the voucher code will be printed at the theatre.

4. Click REDEEM Upon completion, a digital copy of the movie will be added to your Cineplex digital movie library and well e-mail you when your movie is available to view or download.

I took my eligible 2019 Samsung Smart TV home and opened the Cineplex Store app, but Idon'tsee anything offering me free movies how do I get my movies?

First, verify that you have an eligible 2019 Samsung Smart TV (list is available at http://www.samsung.com/tvpromos ) and that you are attempting to register during the eligibility period (July 19, 2019 to November 7, 2019). If you have an eligible TV and are unable to register during the eligibility period, please contact our Guest Services team for assistance.

I got an error from the Cineplex Store app while registering for the promotion What do I do?

You do need to set up an account within the TimePlay App in order to participate. Registration is simple and quick, so set up your account early in order to play next time you visit a theatre.

If you have a Best Buy code, just apply it at checkout. Please note, codes expire at the end of each month.

New to the Cineplex Store?

Follow these 4 simple steps to redeem your free rental:

1.Visit Cineplex Store LOG IN (if you already have a Cineplex account) or SIGN UP

2.Select the movie you wish to rent and choose HD

3. Enter your rental code into the ENTER PROMO CODEbox and hit APPLY

4. ClickPLACE MY ORDERto confirm and enjoy your movie

To order food through the app:

Open the Cineplex app and tap on the FOOD icon on the bottom bar. The app will default to the VIP Cinemas theatre locationyou'vepurchased your ticket to

Tap on the VIEW MENU button

VIEW the items you would like to order

Select the quantity you would like and tap on ADD TO CART

Once you selected everything you want to order, tap on the CART ICON at the top right of the screen

Review your order and edit if you wish, once everything is correct tap PLACE ORDER

Select a payment method and fill out the details required for the method chosen.

Once the transaction is complete, youll see the Thank You page and youll be emailed a receipt.

Your order will automatically be placed with the VIP Cinemas kitchen and once its ready, a server will deliver your food and drink directly to your seat before your movie begins.

Remember, you can browse the menu and add items to your cart at any time on the day of the show, but the order placement window opens 30 minutes before your movie start time.

Since November 2016 the Cineplex store has required guests to convert Costco gift cards to traditional Cineplex gift cards.

You may add payment information to your Cineplex Connect account, however, this is voluntary and not necessary to make purchases on Cineplex.com.

If you bought or rented the HD version, you can watch high definition movies on your iOS device. iPads will default to HD automatically, iPhones will default to SD, if you want to change it to HD please follow the steps below.

To watch HD movies on your iPhone:

1. Open the Cineplex Store app

2. Tap on SETTINGS

3. Under STREAMING QUALITY select HIGHPlease note HD will use more data.

Unfortunately we don't support HD on Android devices yet, but that's coming soon.

We strive to offer the latest technology but at this time, we are not currently offering 4k streaming or downloading.

Decisions to show any program (series or single event) are based on a number of factors. All programs do not play at all locations due to screen availability, but we try to ensure that most locations have representation for our specialty programs, where we have the flexibility to do so.

Check that the PIN has not expired

PINs are typically valid for 30 days after you receive them.

Enter the correct characters

Ensure you typed the correct PIN, some letters and numbers can look alike.

PIN already redeemed

The PIN codes are valid for one rental, and can't be redeemed multiple times.

The Rec Room is an all ages space all day, everyday in Edmonton, until 10 PM in Calgary, and until 11 PM in Toronto, Mississauga, London and St. John's, after which Minors are not allowed. Please check the event listings for special and ticketed events as additional restrictions may apply.

The Rec Room app is no longer available on the Google Play or Apple App stores as we work to introduce new ideas to improve our overall guest experience. After the movie, keep your theatrical movie ticket and visit Cineplex.com/SuperTicket to upgrade it to a SuperTicket.

To redeem your Disney digital movie follow the steps:

1. Visit the Cineplex Store website

2. Search for the movie you have the digital code for

3. Access the movie page

4. Click on REDEEM below the movie details

5. Enter the redemption code printed on your Blu-ray or DVD disc

6. Click REDEEM

Once you redeem your digital movie will be in your library and ready to watch.

D-BOX features physical effects such as chair motion and vibration which may not be suitable if you have a medical condition or disability.
