David J. Tupman D.Sc. h.c. — Independent Director at CIRRUS LOGIC INC

Dr. David J. Tupman, D.Sc. h.c. serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Details Lab Inc. Dr. Tupman provides advisory services to companies seeking to scale their organizations for high-growth, as well as execute on successful technology development and new product introductions. He has been Consultant of Pixelworks, Inc. since July 2012. From 2001 to 2011, he rose from Manager to Vice President of hardware engineering at Apple, Inc., where he led the hardware engineering and technology teams for multiple mobile devices, including the iPhone and iPod. Prior to Apple, Dr. Tupman worked at Psion Computers in London, England from 1995 to 2001 as a hardware-engineering manager, developing a number of personal digital assistant products. From 1988 to 1995, he was a Principal Design Engineer at Schlumberger in Farnborough, England, where he developed low power, high precision sensors for the gas, fuel and aerospace industries. He has been a Director of Cirrus Logic, Inc. (also known as Cirrus Logic K.K.) since July 29, 2015. He has been a Director of Pixelworks, Inc. since April 4, 2014. He serves as a Member of Technical Advisory Board of Movidius, Inc. He is named as an inventor on more than 30 U.S. patents. Dr. Tupman holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics from the University of Salford, England.
