Gregory Scott Thomas — VP, Corporate Secretary & General Counsel at CIRRUS LOGIC INC

Mr. Gregory Scott Thomas has been Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary of Cirrus Logic Inc., since December 2003. Mr. Thomas served as an Associate General Counsel of Intellectual Property at Cirrus Logic Inc. (also know as Cirrus Logic K.K.) since January 2001. He manages Cirrus Logic's legal department and business development function and advises on a wide range of legal and business issues, including intellectual property matters. Coupled with a decade of legal experience, Mr. Thomas gained four years engineering experience while employed at Texas Instruments and AT&T Bell Laboratories. In the mid-to-late 1990s, he served as an intellectual property attorney of Arnold, White & Durkee, specializing in complex technology-related litigation for corporate clients such as Adtran, 3M and Ericsson. He joined Thompson & Knight in Austin, Texas in 2000, to assist in the establishment of its new intellectual property division. He served as a Director of Magnum Semiconductor, Inc. Mr. Thomas attained a J.D. degree from the University of Texas School of Law, a MSEE from Rice University and a BSEE from Virginia Tech.
