Christopher Fix — Managing Director and Head of Asia Pacific at CME Group

Mr. Christopher Fix also known as a Chris, has been a Managing Director and Head of Asia Pacific at CME Group Inc. since June 3, 2015. Mr. Fix served as the Chief Executive Officer of Dubai Mercantile Exchange Limited (DME) since August 26, 2012, where he spearheaded DME's strategic development and established close ties with oil producers, customers and the financial community, with particular focus on DME's core target market of Asia. Mr. Fix served as the Head of Marketing for Commodity Futures APAC, for three years. He joined the Exchange after more than 20 years in the international commodity markets, having worked with BNP Paribas in New York, Paris and Asia since 1992. During this time his desk increased its customer base in Asia four-fold, an achievement which led to the desk being named Energy Risk's Energy Broker of the Year, Asia in 2011. He serves as Director of Dubai Mercantile Exchange Limited.
