Kevin Kometer — Chief Information Officer and Senior Managing Director at CME Group

Mr. Kevin Kometer has been the Chief Information Officer of CME Group, Inc. since July 2008 and has been its Senior Managing Director since 2008. He is the Chief Information Officer at New York Mercantile Exchange, Inc. since July 2008. Mr. Kometer served as a Managing Director of CME Group, Inc. since February 2007 until 2008. Mr. Kometer served as the Senior Managing Director and Chief Information Officer at The Board of Trade of the City of Chicago, Inc. Mr. Kometer served as a Deputy Chief Information Officer of CME Group Inc. from February 2007 to July 2008 and also served as its Managing Director of Trading Execution Systems from February 19, 2006 to February 2007. Mr. Kometer served as a Senior Managing Director of CME Group Inc. He was responsible for the development and quality management of CME Group Inc.'s trading systems for both options and futures trading, both on the trading floor and on its Globex platform. He was also responsible for leading the effort to migrate of CBOT products traded on the eCBOT electronic trading platform to CME Globex during the CME/CBOT integration. He served as the Director of Advanced Technology of CME Group Inc. Before joining CME in 1994, he worked in various technology roles at The Board of Trade Clearing Corporation and Continental Bank. Mr. Kometer holds a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and Math from Northern Illinois University.
