Sean Keating — Managing Director and Head of New York Office at CME Group

Mr. Sean Keating has been Managing Director and Head of New York office of CME Group Inc. since August 2008. Mr. Keating served as Senior Vice President of Clearing Services at New York Mercantile Exchange, Inc., a subsidiary of Nymex Holdings Inc. Mr. Keating served as Senior Vice President of Clearing Services of CMEG NYMEX Holdings Inc. (alternate name: Nymex Holdings Inc.) since 2004. Mr. Keating joined New York Mercantile Exchange from Pioneer Futures, Inc., where he was employed for over 16 years and served as its President since 1998. He originally worked for New York Mercantile Exchange in the Compliance department since 1987 as a Trade Practice Analyst, responsible for investigating violations of trade practices. In 1988, Mr. Keating went to work for Pioneer Futures, an Exchange member firm, as a Clerk and Assistant Operations Manager. Until 1990, he served at Pioneer and then served as an Underwriter for American International Group, Inc. Mr. Keating returned to Pioneer as a Vice President and was responsible for its risk management/capital allocation operations, including trade settlement, data processing, maintaining relationships with banks, and preparing its balance sheet and income statement. Since 1999, he served as President of Pioneer Capital Corp. Mr. Keating holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration/Marketing from Marist College.
