Mr. David Vega has been Senior Vice President of Underwriting & New Business Services at CNO Financial Group, Inc. since March 28, 2013. Mr. Vega serves as Vice President of New Business and Underwriting at Bankers Life and Casualty Company. Mr. Vega joined CNO in 2006 as a Director of Claims for Long-Term Care. In 2008, he was promoted to Senior Director of Claims for Bankers Life and became Vice President of Underwriting and New Business for Bankers Life in 2009. Prior to CNO, he held a variety of roles in operations, claims and disability and workers' compensation for the Long Term Care Group, CNA and CIGNA Healthcare. He holds the distinction of being an inaugural member of the Center for Professional Excellence - Leadership Challenge program. He obtained a Bachelors of Business Administration degree in Human Resources Management from the University of Texas at San Antonio.
