Mr. Matthew J. Zimpfer, also known as Matt, has been an Executive Vice President and General Counsel of CNO Financial Group, Inc. (formerly, Conseco Inc.) since June 2008. Mr. Zimpfer served as a Managing Partner at Zimpfer Klineman & Wright, in-house counsel at Progressive Insurance Company. He has extensive experience in the insurance industry in litigation, legal counsel, compliance and operations. He served as a Law Clerk and Associate of White & Raub, all in Indianapolis, Indiana. Mr. Zimpfer is a Member of the Indiana State Bar Association. He holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in History and Political Science from Butler University and a JD degree from Indiana University.
