Humberto Rada — President of Manquiri at Coeur Mining

Mr. Humberto Rada has been the President of Empresa Minera Manquiri, SA and Coeur South America, both of which are subsidiaries of Coeur Mining, Inc. since July 2008. Mr. Rada leads all Empresa Minera Manquiri's activities in South America, including its existing activities in Bolivia, Chile and Argentina with PricewaterhouseCoopers from 1978 to 1984. He has over 23 years of experience in South American mining and finance. He was employed by Newmont Mining Corp. from 1985 to 2008. He served as the General Manager of Newmont Mining Corporation of Canada Limited. He served as the General Manager of Empresa Minera Inti Raymi S.A., a Bolivian subsidiary of Newmont Mining Corporation. He is President of Bolivia's National Mining Association. His numerous awards include Executive of the Year from New Economy Magazine; Remarkable Bolivian from Enfoques Magazine; as well as more than ten local and international awards in the areas of corporate social responsibility, environmental and best business practices and safety and health. He received his Bachelor degrees in Business Administration, Economic Sciences and Public Accounting from the University of Chile.
