Day to day operations consist of many hard-working, well-intentioned folks doing their best for a shared goal. Some coworkers do seem to be clockwatchers and the rest of us have to sort of work around them. Upper management seems disconnected and communication is sometimes sparse.

Most people want to work here and like what they do.

High quality health insurance options at a high but not obscene price.
What did you like most about the interview process?
Opportunity to meet variety of personnel on my large interview committee, and could ask questions in more conversational manner than expected. On-campus interview included a comprehensive tour.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
They seem to understand what I and my team do in the larger context of the institution, state, and region. They support us when we advocate for (evidence-based) changes.
What are some of the best things about your team?
We are all focused on the shared goal of high quality education and beneficial student experience. Even when we have differences of opinion or style, that shared goal is kept in mind.
