I did my research and gave specifics to what I was looking to add to my comps package. CGS leadership agreed and I received everything I asked for. - The key is to be prepared and know what you are asking for.
The workload, operational pressure, and level of responsibility often exceeded the support structures, staffing, benefits, and work-life balance provided in return. More competitive PTO policies, stronger employee support, and sustainable staffing would improve retention and morale.

Work hard all the time. A raise in pay would do!
