Mr. Stephen Zamansky, also known as Steve, has been a General Counsel and Secretary of Cooper Tire & Rubber Co. since April 4, 2011 and serves as its Senior Vice President. Mr. Zamansky served as a Vice President of Cooper Tire & Rubber Co. since April 4, 2011. He joined Cooper from Essar Minerals Americas Inc. where he served as Senior Vice President, General Counsel & Secretary. During ten years, he also served as Consulting General Counsel in his own legal and business consulting practice. He served as General Counsel and Senior Legal Advisor of Titan Propane LLC since October 7, 2005. He served as Senior Vice President of Corporate Affairs of DSL.net Inc. since July 2002, Vice President from May 1999 to May 2002, General Counsel and Secretary since May 1999. He served as DSL's Vice President of Corporate Affairs from May 2002 to July 2002. Mr. Zamansky has over a decade of experience as a private attorney and corporate executive, including more than four years as Vice President and General Counsel at DSL.net, Inc. While there, he was responsible for DSL.net's legal, regulatory, human resources and procurement & facilities departments. He managed the DSL.net's initial public offering and subsequent stock offerings, as well as private debt financings, securities compliance, industry regulatory matters and corporate governance. From August 1997 to May 1999, He served as an attorney at Day, Berry & Howard LLP. From October 1995 to August 1997, he served as an Attorney at Sullivan & Cromwell in New York City. Earlier, he was a law clerk for a justice of the Supreme Judicial Court of Massachusetts and served as an editor of the Boston College Law Review. Mr. Zamansky received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Michigan, where he graduated with honors. He obtained his Juris Doctor degree from Boston College, where he graduated summa cum laude and served on the Boston College Law Review.
