M. Andrew Thomas — President of Real Estate Manager at CoStar Group

Mr. M. Andrew Thomas, also known as Andy has been President at Real Estate Manager (formerly Virtual Premise Inc.) since 2001 and served as it's Chief Operating Officer since 2001. Mr. Andy has over twenty years of real estate and general management experience, having been involved in over $4 billion of commercial real estate transactions. Mr. Andy leads Virtual Premise's operations, including sales, marketing, product management, engineering, finance and business development. Mr. Andy served as Executive Vice President for twelve years of Equitable Real Estate with involvement in the start-up and growth of multiple new initiatives and companies. As Managing Director of RealEstate.com, Mr. Andy oversaw the launch of its commercial website, negotiating agreements with strategic partners in both the real estate and technology arena. As Managing Director of Portman Holdings, he was responsible for fostering relationships with capital sources and developing capital strategies for RealEstate.com's worldwide development projects. Mr. Thomas received an MBA from the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School and a BS in Building Construction from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
