Ms. Louise Nash is employed at Covington & Burling in the position of Partner. She is an English solicitor whose practice is wide ranging and includes mergers and acquisitions, securities, private equity investments, financing, strategic alliances, licensing and distribution arrangements, and general commercial advice. Her practice is international in nature, with most transactions upon which she advises having a cross-border dimension. Ms. Nash has particular experience in the hi-tech sector and in advising on transactions with an intellectual property element. Louise has recently advised QUALCOMM in connection with several European acquisitions and investments, represented a U.S. subsidiary of The Washington Post Company in its acquisition of a UK business and advised an emerging UK software company in connection with its organization and funding, share programmes, and license and other commercial agreements. Ms. Nash graduated with honours from the University of Surrey in 1992. She attended the College of Law, Guildford, and was admitted as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of England and Wales in 1995. She speaks German and French.
