Executive Bio

Mr. Ken Kunze has been Chief Marketing Officer of Craft Brew Alliance, Inc., since November 4, 2013 and has been its Vice President January 1, 2014. Mr. Kunze served as the Chief Marketing Officer of Sabra Dipping Co., LLC. Mr. Kunze served as Vice President of Marketing of Heineken USA Incorporated from August 2005 to July 14, 2008. Mr. Kunze served as the General Manager of the Heineken USA's Western Regional Business Unit, where was responsible for all sales and field marketing activities for the Heineken in 13 western states. He served as the Chief Marketing Officer of Heineken USA. Mr. Kunze began his career at Heineken USA as Director of Marketing at Heineken brand, where he was responsible for all Heineken brand marketing activities. He directed development of the brand's award-winning It's All About the Beer advertising campaign and established the first-ever multicultural marketing effort for Heineken and introduced the Keg Can. Mr. Kunze joined Heineken USA in 1997 as the Marketing Director for Brand Heineken. He played a fundamental role in elevating Heineken USA. Mr. Kunze's key accomplishments includes leading his business unit through a major organizational restructuring and successfully integrating five FEMSA Cerveza Mexican beer brands into the Heineken USA portfolio -- a key objective for the western U.S. Prior to Heineken USA, Mr. Kunze served a series of progressively senior beverage brand marketing positions at Cadbury Schweppes and PepsiCo. He was named an Ad Age Top 100 Marketer in 2001. Mr. Kunze Graduated from the University of Illinois with a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Finance and received his M.B.A. from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
