He has been an Executive Director of CRH plc since January 04, 2016. Mr. Murphy serves as a Director of Ulster Bank Ireland Limited. Mr. Murphy served as a Non-executive director at Bank of Ireland (UK) plc since June 29, 2012. He served as a Director of SSE Renewables Holdings Limited. He served as Director of Ulster Bank Group until March 2011. He served as a Director of First Active plc since November 30, 2007. He is a qualified Chartered Accountant with Arthur Andersen & Co. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland. He is a graduate of University College Dublin, holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree and Masters in Accounting.
