Mark S. Towe — Chairman of CRH Americas and Chief Executive Officer of Oldcastle at CRH PLC

Mr. Mark S. Towe has been the Chief Executive Officer at Oldcastle, Inc. since July 2008. Mr. Towe served as the Chief Executive Officer of CRH Americas at CRH plc since July 2008. He served as the Chief Executive Officer of Oldcastle Materials, Inc. and Oldcastle Precast, Inc., are subsidiaries of CRH plc since 2006. He served as Chief Executive Officer of Americas Materials Division at CRH plc since 2006. He joined Oldcastle as Chief Operating Officer of the Materials Group in 1997, becoming President of Oldcastle Materials, Inc. in 2000. He held a number of senior management positions in the US aggregates industry. With over 40 years' of experience in the building materials industry, he has overall responsibility for the Group's aggregates, asphalt and readymixed concrete operations in the United States and its products and distribution businesses in the Americas. Mr. Towe has been the Chairman of CRH Americas since January 01, 2016. He served as Chairman of the Board of the National Stone Sand and Gravel Association in 1998. He served as an Executive Director at CRH plc from July 31, 2008 to December 31, 2016. He serves as the Chairman of the Board of Trustees for the International Center for Aggregate Research at the University of Texas, the Chairman of the Board of Trustees for the Rocks Build America Foundation at the Smithsonian Institute in Washington, DC and serves on the Board of Trustees at Virginia Wesleyan College in Norfolk, Virginia.
