Mark Schack — Executive Vice President of Talent Management at CRH PLC

Mr. Mark Schack serves as Executive Vice President of Talent Management at CRH plc. Mr. Schack served as the Chief Executive Officer of Old Castle Precast Inc. since June 2006. He served as the President of the Western Region at Oldcastle Precast, Inc. since 1992. He started working for Oldcastle Precast before there was an Oldcastle Precast in 1972, with Utility Vault Company in Oregon. In 1974, he accepted an engineering position at Utility Vault in Auburn, WA. When the new facility in Chandler, AZ, opened, he became the Production Superintendent. In 1977, he was promoted to General Manager in Wilsonville, OR. He served as the Vice President of Precast operations of Carder Concrete Products with Profits & Loss responsibilities for the plants in Arizona, Colorado and New Mexico. He worked to grow Oldcastle, through acquisition as the Vice President of Development and organically as General Manager of Chandler from 1989 to 1992.
