Executive Bio

Mr. Kenneth W. Deutsch, also known as Ken, Rear Admiral (Ret), serves as an Executive Vice President of Defense Group of CSRA Inc. Mr. Deutsch served as Vice President at Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC) since 2009 and also served as its Lead Executive since October 2011. He leads CSC's NGEN strategy, transition and execution. His background includes 31 years in the Navy, retiring as a Rear Admiral (RADM) after commanding Patrol and Reconnaissance forces at the Squadron, Wing, Group and Task Force level. Mr. Deutsch joined CSC in 2009 as Vice President and General Manager for Information Dominance Programs within the Defense and Intelligence group and also as its Department of Defense Cyber Account Executive. Over the course of his 31-year U.S. Navy career, he was thoroughly involved in all aspects of naval command and control, communications and enterprise networks. Operationally, he commanded patrol and reconnaissance forces at the squadron, wing, group and task force levels and served as the Commander of forces for flying combat missions in support of Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom. His shore tours included serving as the Chief of the communications and computer networks division, J6T, the Joint Chiefs of Staff and as Deputy for resources and requirements in the Space and Information Warfare, Command and Control Division, in the Office of the Chief of Naval Operations (OPNAV) N61R. Mr. Deutsch also served three years as Director of Warfare Integration of OPNAV N6F/OPNAV N83, where he was responsible for all Navy command, control, communications and computer investments and later served as the Director of capabilities and resource integration (N8) on the staff of Commander of the U.S. Fleet Forces Command.
