Mr. John D. Thomas, also known as Jay, CPA, MBA has been Executive Advisor of Cubic Corporation since October 1, 2017. Mr. Thomas served as the Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President of Cubic Corporation from January 31, 2013 to October 1, 2017 and also served as its Principal Accounting Officer. Mr. Thomas served as senior vice president of Finance and Corporate Development at Cubic since June 2012. He joined Cubic in 1980. He served as Vice President of Finance at Cubic Corporation since 1994 and Vice President of Corporate Development since 2008. His responsibilities include corporate finance, risk management, corporate development, real estate and oversight of employee benefit and retirement plans. Mr. Thomas previously served as the Treasurer of Cubic Corp. since 1992. He has held a variety of other financial management positions with Cubic Corp. since 1980. Mr. Thomas previous experiences include various financial positions with Aramark Corporation and Crocker Bank. He serves as a Director of Cubic Holdings Limited. He holds a certified public accountant license (inactive) in the state of California. Mr. Thomas is a graduate of San Diego State University with a Bachelor of Science in finance and received a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of San Diego.
