Mr. Matthew James Cole, also known as Matt, has been Senior Vice President and President of CTS at Cubic Corporation since October 1, 2015. Mr. Cole has been the President of Cubic Transportation Systems, Inc. since October 1, 2015. He served as an Executive Vice President of Cubic Corporation. Mr. Cole served as an Executive Vice President of Cubic Transportation Systems, Inc (CTS) since September 2015. Mr. Cole served as its Managing Director of Australia Operations and Vice President of Financial Operations and served as Acting Managing Director of Australia Operations. He served as Financial Director of UK Operations at Cubic Transportation Systems, Inc. Mr. Cole served as instrumental in growing CTS on three continents as well as entering into adjacent transportation markets. He has experience in global and executive operations at CTS and has the deep knowledge and expertise to lead the transportation business into its next growth phase. Mr. Cole is a thought leader in the transportation industry. Mr. Cole joined CTS in 2003 and held various positions of increasing responsibility as Deputy and Executive Vice President of Strategy and Business Development. He served as Managing Director of CTS-Australasia and Vice President of Finance for CTS. He was instrumental in the negotiation of the Future Ticketing Agreement with Transport for London and the award and mobilization of the Opal Card contract in Sydney. He also spearheaded the acquisitions of NextBus and Serco's Transport Solutions business (Cubic ITMS), as well as the launch of Urban Insights, a data analytics consultancy company. He was a Primary Architect of the NextCity vision. Mr. Cole is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and has an MBA from the Oxford Brookes University.
