Ms. Sandra A. Gardiner, also known as Sandy, has been Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer of Cutera, Inc. since December 2017. Ms. Gardiner served as Consultant Chief Financial Officer of Cutera, Inc. from July 12, 2017 to December 2017. Ms. Gardiner served as Chief Financial Officer of TRIA Beauty, Inc since April 2015 until April 2017 and served as its Vice President of Finance. Ms. Gardiner lead Tria Beauty's global finance, accounting and Information Technology functions. Ms. Gardiner served as Chief Financial Officer of Asante Solutions, Inc. since July 2014. Ms. Gardiner served as Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Finance at Aptus Endosystems, Inc. from September 2013 to June 2014. Ms. Gardiner served as the Chief Financial Officer and Vice President at Ventus Medical, Inc. from October 2011 to May 2013, where she was instrumental in their ASX listing and financing efforts, OTC product launch, COGS reduction and ERP implementation. She has over 27 years (with 19 years specifically in the medical device industry) of financial and general management experience in the medical device, biotechnology and diagnostics industries. She served as Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Vermillion, Inc. from May 2010 to October 21, 2011 and also served as its Secretary until October 21, 2011. Ms. Gardiner served as the Chief Financial Officer of Bend Research Inc. from February 2009 to May 2010. She served as Chief Accounting Officer of Lipid Sciences Inc. from January 2003 to August 2004 and also served as its Principal Financial Officer from September 2004 to 2009. Ms. Gardiner served as Vice President and Secretary of Lipid Sciences Inc. from 2001 to 2009. Ms. Gardiner served as the Controller and Director of Administration for Lipid Sciences Inc. from February 2001 to December 2002. She was associated with CLI Liquidating Corporation (formerly Cardima, Inc.) from January 1994 to January 2001, a manufacturer of catheter-based systems to improve the diagnosis and therapy of electrophysiologic disorders, where she served as the Corporate Controller and as Director of Finance and Administration. Prior to Cardima, Ms. Gardiner served as the Corporate Controller for Comac Inc. from March 1991 to December 1993. Ms. Gardiner began her biotechnology career with Advanced Cardiovascular Systems, a division of Guidant, in 1988, holding several positions in the Internal Audit, Accounting and Finance departments. She served as a Director of Bend Research Inc. from February 2009 to May 2010. Ms. Gardiner holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Management Economics from the University of California at Davis.
