Venkatesh S. Durvasula — Chief Commercial Officer at CyrusOne

Mr. Venkatesh S. Durvasula, also known as Tesh, has been the Chief Commercial Officer of CyrusOne Inc. at Cyrus Networks LLC since October 15, 2012. Mr. Durvasula serves as Chief Commercial Officer of CyrusOne GP. He served as the Chief Marketing & Business Officer of Quality Technology Services, LLC since March 2010 until April 2012 and was responsible for all aspects of QTS' sales and marketing efforts. Mr. Durvasula served as the Chief Marketing and Business Officer at Quality Technical Services, Inc. He served as the Chief Marketing Officer and Chief Business Officer at The Telx Group, Inc., until 2010. As Chief Marketing and Business Officer of telx, he was responsible for leading the Corporate Development and all facets of Marketing that includes; product, distribution strategies, pricing and promotions, communications, public relations, business development and customer support. He served as the Executive Vice President of Corporate Development where he was responsible for the corporate integration of newly acquired assets that included NYC Connect (NYCC) acquired by telx in March 2007, where he served as Chief Operating Officer and Co-founder. At NYCC, he was responsible for the day-to-day business operations for over 4 years. Mr. Durvasula is an industry veteran, with more than 17 years of technology and management experience. He has extensive sales, marketing and business experience in IT services, hosting, data center and telecommunications. Prior to NYCC, Mr. Durvasula served as Vice President of Sales and Business Development for Metromedia Fiber Network (a.k.a. AboveNet), where he was responsible for the Hosting solutions business. During his tenure at MFN, he played a major role in two strategic acquisitions: AboveNet in September 1999 and Sitesmith in February 2001. He serves on the Board of The Shelter for the Homeless. Mr. Durvasula holds a BA from Syracuse University.
