Deborah H. Merrill — CFO, VP, Treasurer & President of Delta Basics at Delta Apparel

Ms. Deborah H. Merrill, also known as Deb, has been the Chief Financial Officer of Delta Apparel Inc. since July 2006 and has been Treasurer and Vice President since March 2006 and also serves as its Principal Accounting Officer. Ms. Merrill has been the President of Delta Basics at Delta Apparel, Inc. since 2006. Ms. Merrill is responsible for the day-to-day fiscal management of Delta Apparel Inc., including financial policies and planning, public reporting and investor relations, tax compliance and strategies and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance. She served as the Chief Accounting Officer of Delta Apparel Inc. from March 2006 to July 2006 and Assistant Secretary from December 1999 to March 2006. Ms. Merrill has served as Director of Corporate Reporting, Planning and Administration at Delta Apparel Inc. since August 2004. From July 2000 to July 2004, Ms. Merrill served as Director of Accounting and Administration of Delta Apparel Inc. From March 1999 to June 2000, Ms. Merrill served as Director of Accounting and Administration of the Delta Apparel division of Delta Woodside Industries, Inc. From August 1998 to February 1999, Ms. Merrill served as an Accounting Manager of the Delta Apparel division of Delta Woodside Industries, Inc. Before joining Delta Apparel in 1998, she served as the Logistics Controller for GNB Technologies, a battery manufacturing company, and as an Auditor for Deloitte LLP. She holds a BS degree in Accounting and is a Certified Public Accountant.
