How innovative is DemystData?
Not very much at the moment. Working on figuring out what's next but pushing existing platform.
How difficult is it to maintain a social life while in your job at DemystData?
It's not hard.
What part of DemystData's business is growing fastest? What part is having difficulties?
Sales and the actual software is still struggling to find product market fit. We keep doing different stuff but want something to be repeatable.
How would you compare interviewing at DemystData to other places you've interviewed?
Strange but somewhat typical for a small company still figuring the process out. Seems they still need to figure out what roles they are hiring for.
Who did you meet with during your interview? And how long did it take to hear back from DemystData?
3.5 weeks overal. Screeend by someone in HR, phone interview, in person and then super round plus short meeting with CEO

Casual end of business casual.

Does DemystData drug test or do a background check?
No but have when clients required it.

Prolonged and a bit confusing. Offered to consider other roles during interviews.

For an 8 year old company, pretty lacking. Slim insurance benefits and no 401k still. No lunches or anything like that.
How does DemystData handle HR issues?
Collects information and then does nothing. Decisions don’t happen unless it’s run by the CEO. HR mostly creates duplicate work.

Minimal. It’s a free for all of self learning and finding someone to help you learn the product, use case, clients and more important what’s real and not.
How flexible is your work schedule at DemystData?
Pretty flexible. Make your hours and get your work done kind of place. Unlimited pto and minimal oversight in a distributed work enviro (ie slack).
