Dr. Carole Ho, M.D. has been the Chief Medical Officer and Head of Development at Denali Therapeutics Inc. since June 2015. Dr. Ho served as Vice President of Early Clinical Development at Genentech, where she headed the early clinical development for all indications outside of oncology. She has more than a decade of experience in drug development across multiple therapeutic areas including neurology. She served as Group Medical Director of Rheumatology and Group Medical Director of Personalized Health Care for Inflammatory diseases. Prior to Genentech, she held a faculty appointment in the Department of Neurology at Stanford University and was subsequently a Medical Director at Johnson and Johnson. Dr. Ho received her undergraduate degree in Biochemical Sciences from Harvard College and her M.D. from Weill Cornell Medical College. She completed her medical internship and neurology residency at Harvard Medical School and served as Chief Resident of Neurology at the Massachusetts General Hospital/Brigham and Women's Hospital.
