Mr. James Stanley Matthews, also known as Jim, has been General Counsel and Secretary at Denbury Resources Inc. since joining in January 2012 and also has been its Executive Vice President and Chief Administration Officer since December 2017. Mr. Matthews served as Senior Vice President of Denbury Resources Inc. from May 2014 to December 2017. He has over 21 years of legal experience to the Company. He served as Vice President of Denbury Resources Inc. since January 2012. He has represented public and private companies, private equity funds, real estate companies, commercial banks, commercial finance companies, mezzanine funds, borrowers and issuers in connection with a wide variety of commercial and corporate transactions in the United States and Asia, with a primary focus on oil and gas finance transactions.
