Atul Kavthekar — Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer at Diplomat Pharmacy

Mr. Atul Kavthekar has been Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer at Diplomat Pharmacy, Inc. since May 01, 2017. Mr. Kavthekar served as Managing Director of Overture Advisors, LLC. He served as Chief Financial Officer at LivingSocial, Inc. since June 2015 until December 2016. He served as Chief Executive Officer and Senior Vice President of BDO Capital Advisors, LLC. Having started his career as an engineer, Mr. Kavthekar has more than 20 years of experience in finance, banking and strategic business development. Prior to LivingSocial, he served as Chief Financial Officer and Head of Corporate Development for Sears Holdings Corporation's Health and Wellness Solutions business unit. In this position, he was responsible for overall financial management, corporate and business development and strategic planning for the division. Prior to Sears, Mr. Kavthekar served as the Chief Financial Officer for Walgreens??? Ecommerce division, where he oversaw the financial management and business development of the retailer's rapidly growing, multi-billion dollar unit, including its mobile, tablet and website platform development. Also at Walgreens, he was a leader in mergers and acquisitions and strategic investing, including its acquisition of drugstore.com. Mr. Kavthekar was responsible for the overall financial performance of walgreens.com, drugstore.com, beauty.com, skinstore.com and visiondirect.com, as well as additional venture capital investments. He served as Director of Trenwith Securities, specializing in special situation and bankruptcy (Section 363) transactions. He served as Vice President of Morgan Stanleys Mergers, Acquisitions and Restructurings Department, he worked on several notable transactions including the sale of Fox Family Worldwide to the Walt Disney Company and the restructuring of Qualcomm's investment in Pegaso Telecommunicaciones, a Mexican provider of wireless telecommunications services. Prior to Morgan Stanley, he was an Associate at Wasserstein Perella & Co. He served as a Director of KPMG Corporate Finance LLC. He has a BSE from the University of Michigan, a MSE in industrial engineering from Wayne State University and an MBA from the Graduate School of Business at the University of Chicago.
