Mr. Stephen S. Brown, also known as Steve, has been Chief Information Officer of Diplomat Pharmacy, Inc. since September 2014. Prior to joining Diplomat, Mr. Brown served as an executive consultant specializing in the development of technology architectures and organizational solutions, new client acquisition and business development. Additionally, Mr. Brown is actively serving as a board adviser for several companies, providing expertise and guidance on operations, information technology, sales and marketing and executive leadership. Prior to Omnicare, Mr. Brown served as Chief Information Officer and Senior Vice President of Omnicare Inc. Mr. Brown served as Chief Information & Innovation Officer at Carlson Companies, Inc. Mr. Brown served as Chief Information Officer, Senior Vice President and Senior Vice President of Distribution, Reservation Sales & Customer Service at Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group. Mr. Brown served as Vice President of Enterprise Architecture and Chief Technology Officer of Carlson Companies, Inc. Previously, he also served as Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer of Carlson Companies, Inc. from August 2000 to July 2005. Before joining Carlson, he served as Vice President and Chief Information Officer of Micron Electronics, a global information company serving the business, consumer, education and government markets with PC products. His carlson appointment marked his return to Minneapolis, where he served as Chief Information Officer of the 3M spin-off company, Imation. Prior to that, he directed enterprise integration and telecommunications at Pillsbury. He also directed systems integration and managed data-center functions at GE Aerospace. He first became involved in information technology during his 10-year career in the US Marine Corps. Mr. Brown holds a Master's degree in Management Information Systems (MIS) from the Naval Post Graduate School and a Bachelor's Degree in Business Marketing from Texas Tech University.
