Mr. Koonce served as Senior Vice President of Commercial Operations of Consolidated Natural Gas Company from January 1999 to January 2000 and served as its Vice President of Regulated Commercial Operations from January 1999 to June 1999. He served as Senior Vice President-Sonat Energy Services from August 1997 to January 1999. From 1982 to 1992, he worked for East Tennessee Natural Gas, Entrade Corporation, Texas Gas Transmission and Transcontinental Gas Pipeline Corporation. Mr. Koonce served as Chairman of the Interstate Natural Gas Association of America and the Southern Gas Association. He serves as a Member of Advisory Board of American Gas Association. He serves as a Director of Blue Racer Midstream, LLC. He serves on the Board of Directors of the Southeastern Electric Exchange and the Virginia Early Childhood Foundation. He serves on the Board of Trustees of the Jamestown-Yorktown Foundation, Collegiate School and Virginia Union University and the Regional Leadership Council for Smart Beginnings. Mr. Koonce served as a Representative of Management Committee at Iroquois Gas Transmission System L.P. since 2000. He served as the campaign Chairman of the Greater Richmond/Petersburg 2010 United Way campaign. Mr. Koonce is a 1982 graduate of the University of Tennessee-Knoxville, with a Bachelor's Degree in Business.
