Edward Wesley — Vice President of People at DreamHost

As the Vice President of People for DreamHost, Ed Wesley believes that everyone is the hero of their own story and that his department is here to help them become that hero. Holding an MA in Communications and Storytelling from East Tennessee State University and a coaching certification from Co-Active, Wesley has utilized his unique skills to strategically evolve DreamHost’s Human Resources Department. Joining the team in 2011 as an Organizational Training Manager and quickly growing into a leadership role, Wesley began managing the department in 2016. Wesley has a keen perspective on leadership and community building. Not only has he helped DreamHost meet the needs of its increasingly global workforce, but he has cultivated an internal culture of support and encouragement that goes beyond what is traditionally expected among employers in tech. Whether it is retrofitting internal systems to accommodate team members worldwide, or pivoting the company with compassion by successfully creating remote work environments in response to a global crisis, Wesley leads by example, speaking from the heart and helping to guide team members on their journey of living their life to the fullest extent.
