Poor accountability, especially if you're in the 'boys club', if you're into an easy/chill place to work where nepotism is working at it's finest with "ok" pay where doing just enough keeps you off the radar, this is the place to be. But don't expect to be able to move mountains.

Held accountable when they aren't performing, lot's of nepotism has led to a lot of of incompetence.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Fix the rampant nepotism and lack of accountability at this company, set and stick to a strategy instead of constant flip-flopping, and fix the poor communication and artificial gatekeeping that has started spreading, especially over the last couple of years.
