Executive Bio

Mr. Clint Huang serves as Director of Manufacturing and President of DuPont Taiwan at E. I. du Pont de Nemours and Company. Mr. Huang joined DuPont in June 1978 as a first-line supervisor of the Medical Products operations in the Chung Li plant in Taiwan. He held several first-line and second-line supervisory positions at the plant until he was transferred to the DuPont Taipei office as marketing specialist for Freon?? products in Taiwan in January 1983. In late 1984, he moved to the Berg Electronics business as planning manager, Regional Capacity for Asia Pacific and traveled extensively to Japan, Korea, Hong Kong and Singapore to do market research and set up local operations. After that, he was responsible for Berg Electronics operations at the Chung Li plant and was involved in several workforce reductions in 1986 and 1987. Mr. Huang moved to the DuPont Taipei office in October 1988 as marketing manager for DuPont Fibers in Taiwan, and had the opportunity to learn about Lycra??, Tyvek??, Kevlar??, Nomex?? and Dacron??. He became the Chung Li plant manager and moved to White Pigments & Mineral Products in August 1992 after DuPont announced to divest the global Berg Electronics business in May 1992. In 1992, he relocated to Wilmington where he received TiO2 process training at the Edgemoor plant. Mr. Huang returned to Taiwan in mid-1993, and joined the Kuan Yin TiO2 plant start-up and became plant manager in May 1995. He was appointed managing director ' Asia Pacific for the TiO2 business in November 1999. He assumed additional responsibility as president of DuPont Taiwan Limited in November 2002 and had an office in DuPont Taipei for the third time. In October 2003, Mr. Huang relinquished his Taiwan country manager responsibility and relocated to China to take additional responsibility for DuPont Titanium Technologies' new China investment project. He moved to Operations in September 2004 as platform operations leader for the Coatings & Color Technologies platform, Asia Pacific, and assumed Operations leader for Asia Pacific in October 2006. He was named to his current position in January 2015. He remains a member of the Global Manufacturing Leadership Team. Mr. Huang graduated from National Taiwan University in 1973 with a degree in Chemical Engineering.
