Mr. Juan Manuel Vaquer has been President of Dupont Latin America and Associate General Counse of E. I. du Pont de Nemours and Company since October 2015. Mr. Vaquer served as the President at DuPont Argentina S.R.L and R.L since January 1, 2007. He is an Associate General Counsel, Legal Director at DuPont Latin America. He has held several positions in the Legal and External Affairs functions for the subsidiary. He joined DuPont Argentina as a lawyer in 1990 and after two years was appointed Legal manager. In 1995 he was transferred to Geneva, Switzerland, where he worked as European counsel for business units in Europe, Middle East and Africa, until September 1998. In 2002 he was named vice president of DuPont Argentina and in 2003 was appointed Legal vice president of Latin America, having responsibility in all legal matters for South and Central America, including Mexico. In January 2008 he was named president of DuPont Southern Cone (i.e. Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Paraguay, Uruguay). Since the formation in January 2004 of the DuPont Latin America Region, he became Director Legal Latin America. In January 2007, he added the role of President DuPont Argentina to his responsibilities. Prior to joining DuPont, he worked in a law firm and in the International Department of the Argentine Attorney General's Office. Upon his return to Latin America in 1998, he was named president of DuPont Chile. In 2001 he was named Legal director for South America. In June 2013 was elected president of the Board of the American Chamber of Commerce in Argentina (AmCham Argentina). He is a member of the executive committee of the Board of Directors of IDEA (Institute for Business Development in Argentina), and of CEADS (Argentine Business Council for Sustainable Development). He obtained his Master's degree in International and Comparative Law from the Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas in 1988. He graduated as a lawyer from the Buenos Aires University. Mr. Vaquer received his JD degree from the University of Buenos Aires, Law School.
