Shelley Stewart Jr., C.P.S.M. — Chief Procurement Officer and Vice President of Sourcing & Logistics at E.I. du Pont de Nemours and Company

Mr. Shelley Stewart, Jr., served as the Chief Procurement Officer and Vice President of Sourcing & Logistics at E. I. du Pont de Nemours and Company since July 9, 2012. Mr. Stewart served as the Chief Procurement Officer and Senior Vice President of Operational Excellence at Tyco International Ltd. since January 20, 2006. Prior to that, he served as Tyco's Vice President of Supply Chain. In this role, he led its supply chain initiative, working closely with senior management to establish savings goals and promote best practices in sourcing. He served as Senior Vice President of Supply Chain Management at Invensys PLC joining in 2003 until 2006 and was responsible for driving improvements in the efficiency of the Group's purchasing and supply performance. He served as a Vice President of Supply Chain Management for Raytheon Company. Before this, he was at United Technologies Corporation for 18 years holding a number of senior positions. Mr. Stewart serves as the Chairman of Howard's Supply Chain Advisory Board. He served as the Chairman of the Board at Institute for Supply Management, Inc. (ISM) since February 2009. He serves as a Member of the Conference Board's Purchasing and Supply Leadership Council and serves on the visiting Board of Directors at Howard University's School of Business and a Member of Purchasing Magazine's Editorial Advisory Board. He served as a Director of Cleco Corporation from April 1, 2010 to April 13, 2016. He served as a Manager of Cleco Power LLC since 2010. In December, the editors of Purchasing named him the magazine's first Supply Chain Manager of the Year. Mr. Stewart holds a Master Degree in Business Administration from the University of New Haven and both a Bachelor degree and Master degree from Northeastern University.
