William J. Harvey — President of Packaging & Industrial Polymers Segment at E.I. du Pont de Nemours and Company

Mr. William J. Harvey, also known as Bill, serves as the President of Packaging & Industrial Polymers at DuPont do Brasil S.A. Mr. Harvey has been the President of Packaging & Industrial Polymers Segment at EI DuPont de Nemours & Co. since October 2009. He served as Vice President of Corporate Operations at EI DuPont de Nemours & Co. since June 13, 2007 and as its Vice President of Planning since January 2008. Mr. Harvey served as Vice President of DuPont Advanced Fiber Systems and General Manager of DuPont Advanced Fiber Systems at Ei Dupont De Nemours & Co. from February 2002 to June 13, 2007. He initially joined DuPont in 1977 in the former Polymers Department as a Product Specialist in Wilmington, Del. After a series of product management and product development assignments, he relocated to Chicago, Ill., as a Marketing Representative in Packaging. In 1982, he returned to Delaware where he assumed a series of management positions in Supply Chain and Fluoropolymer and Packaging Marketing. In 1988, Mr. Harvey served as Manager of DuPont Technical Services Laboratories. He served as Business Manager of DuPont Elastomers ' neoprene, Nordel?? and Hypalon?? since 1990. He left DuPont in 1992 to become General Manager of Peroxygen Chemical Division of FMC Corporation. He rejoined DuPont in 1996 and served as Global Business Director of DuPont Packaging & Industrial Polymers. In 1999, Mr. Harvey assumed the role of Global Business Director ' Kevlar?? at the Spruance plant in Richmond, Va. since February 2002, he served as Vice President and General Manager of Spruance. In November 2002, Mr. Harvey assumed the additional responsibility for DuPont Personal Protection, a new market-faced business focused on growing DuPont's position in worker protection. He serves as Director of the Salvation Army of Richmond, Va. He has been an Independent Director of Kennametal Inc, since March 2, 2011. He serves as Trustee of Darden Business School at the University of Virginia. Mr. Harvey serves as a Trustee of Washington College. He is also a member of the Virginia Business Council. He serves as a Trustee of St. Catherine's School. He was a Trustee of the Darden Graduate Business School at the University of Virginia. He was a Trustee of the Delaware State University and a Governor of The St. Catherine's School in Richmond, Va. He received a Bachelor of Science degree from Virginia Commonwealth University and an MBA from Darden School at the University of Virginia. Mr. Harvey has completed several executive management programs at the Harvard Business School.
