Executive Bio

Mr. Daniel Tarman, also known as Dan, has been the Chief Communications Officer at eBay Inc. since June 1, 2015 and its Senior Vice President since June 2015. At eBay, Mr. Tarman leads the global communications function responsible for brand and reputation management, employee communications, social innovation and the eBay Foundation. Mr. Tarman is a seasoned executive and strong leader with the right combination of global communications and brand experience to help lead eBay forward. For eight years, he served as Executive Vice President and Global Head of Corporate Communications at PIMCO. He led brand and reputation management efforts for PIMCO. Prior to PIMCO, Mr. Tarman held senior communications positions at Countrywide Financial Corporation, VISA and the global public relations agency Burson-Marsteller. He has been a Director of The Advertising Council, Inc. since April 13, 2016. He holds a Bachelor's Degree from Tulane University and a Law Degree from the University of Miami.
